The Singing Mermaid - Festive Gala

Little Angel Theatre would like to invite you to join us for a Festive Gala on the 12th December 2024 at our Theatre on Dagmar Passage.

This will be a one-of-a-kind event hosted by Helen George (actor, Call the Midwife), featuring special guests Benjamin Scheuer (songwriter and musician) and Simon Scheuer (songwriter and musician), Lydia Monks (author and illustrator), Lliana Bird (writer and broadcaster) and the critically acclaimed jazz singer Barb Jungr.

The evening will begin with a sneak peak and exclusive songs from upcoming shows – The Dung Beetle Deli and A Squash and a Squeeze, as well as a festive song by critically acclaimed jazz singer, Barb Jungr. This  will be followed by a performance of the award winning LAT adaptation of Julia Donaldson’s, The Singing Mermaid.

All ages are welcome, with craft activities for children, book signing and illustrations by Lydia Monk, festival snacks and tipples, and an opportunity to buy some unique last minute Christmas presents.

Performance: 6:30pm
Reception after the performance

All proceeds from the event will go towards the development of new work.
