In association with Puppeteers UK and British UNIMA

Location: Studios – we have two venues, this event takes place at our Studios, a short walk from the theatre. Click for more information.

Join us for the summer edition of Puppet Space, an opportunity to catch up with old and new friends and discuss all things puppetry related.

At Puppet Space you will get a chance to meet core members of the Little Angel Theatre team as well as other artists, producers, performers with an interest in puppetry and animation.

For this edition of Puppet Space, Little Angel Theatre is partnering with British UNIMA who will be holding their AGM and annual lecture alongside our networking event. BrUNIMA is a registered charity which supports the status of puppeteers and puppet theatre by raising public awareness of the value and importance of puppetry as an art form in its own right.

Mike Shepherd, director of Kneehigh Theatre who has collaborated extensively with puppetry companies and directors, will be delivering this year’s lecture. From Mevagissey to Shanghai and back again, this talk gives insight into Kneehigh’s various journeys, beliefs and ways of working.

“There was never a plan, we just had to do it” – Mike Shepherd, actor, director and teacher
