“Their beautifully crafted micro-shows are like collector’s items” The Stage
“They [Box Tale Soup] are wonderful.” The Times
From the peaceful pleasures of Ratty’s beloved river bank to the fearful frights and wicked weasels of the Wild Wood, join Mole and Ratty on their marvellous adventures, along with gruff old Badger and wild Mr.Toad. A beautiful new adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s much loved classic by award winning theatre company Box Tale Soup, Wind in the Willows features handmade puppets, props and costume, and a charming original score.
Winner – ‘Best Show for Families’ at Buxton Fringe for Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland
The Wind in the Willows is aimed at ages 5-11. The show uses original text from the 1908 novel, so the plot and language may be challenging for younger children, and the adventure story has some darker scenes when the characters face some unfriendly animals from the ‘Wild Wood’.
