Little Bean is a theatre company focusing on Cantonese speaking children and families in the UK, founded by a London-based group of theatre, music and multi-arts practitioners, most of whom are from Hong Kong. As Cantonese is the most spoken Chinese language in the UK, Little Bean’s objective is to use arts expertise to help preserve the Cantonese language and culture by producing interactive performances across the UK for young children and families. Little Bean also performs English and Mandarin versions of their productions alongside the Cantonese originals to reach out to a wider audience.

Following a fantastic inaugural festival in 2019, CAN Festival returns to London in 2020. CAN Festival 2020 will run from 3 February to 23 February in high profile venues across London including Rich Mix, Southbank Centre, Shoreditch Town Hall, Kings Place, Jacksons Lane, Little Angel Theatre and Soho Theatre.
