“I am in awe at how many different animals you conveyed. My son and I were both captivated.” – Natalie Rope, parent

“I was really blown away by the performance, such a lovely show. It was incredibly entertaining and the children absolutely loved it!” – Katie Sunlay, Fly Girl Films

Finger and Thumb Theatre’s new show is all about creative collaboration. When a lowly pianist and a star kazoo player step on stage to give an important recital, their shadows quickly take over to express their true feelings about each other – until the shadows show them that it is better to work together if you want to make something beautiful.

The much-loved music of Camille Saint-Saëns (played by a concert pianist) combines with the visual magic of Drew Colby’s hand shadows to create a spell-binding, hilarious and (in the words of the children at the preview performances) “amazing and mysterious” virtuoso performance.

Commissioned by Junction, Goole and funded by the Arts Council.
