Make
At the start of the pandemic, we launched Watch, Make and Share to bring the joy of theatre into homes and schools at a time that was extremely uncertain for many.
This has resulted in over
1 million views on YouTube
48,000 watch hours (5.5 years!)
7.6million reach to 95 countries
This meant that we could extend our reach to those with financial, geographical or social-economic barriers to attending our venues.
About our at home resources
In this section, you will find over 100 activities for young people to engage with and enjoy at home. Started at first as a response to the school closures, Little Angel Theatre remains committed to providing fun, accessible resources to be enjoyed by young people and their families up and down the country as well as around the world. From puppet making to crafts, there is something here for everyone!
All of the guides use simple materials, most of which can be found at home. Why not check out our guide on how to start your own crafting collection here.
They are aimed at children from 3 to 11 and fall into the following categories:
Suitable for ages 3-6 (KS1) with focused adult help
Suitable for ages 7-11 (KS2) independent working
Many of our activities also have accompanying videos that can be found on our YouTube channel here.
Happy making!
Stories
We have a whole host of stories available for you to watch and enjoy at home, told to the camera by some of the brilliant artists that we work with. If you’re looking for an old school classic or to discover a new favourite, there is something for everyone.
