‘Witty, ingenious and romantic… a winner’ Time Out

‘Lucky people so ‘tis said are blessed with fortune whilst in bed.’

A long time ago, one disgruntled fairy cast a spell that sent the whole world into a spin…

This adaptation of the story of Briar Rose conjures a dreamlike fantasy of palaces and forests, fairies and princes. It tells the story of a King and Queen who long for a baby. A mysterious messenger grants their wish, but due to an unfortunate oversight, an uninvited guest appears at baby Rose’s christening and bestows a gift that turns the kingdom upside down.

This bold production spins puppets, projections, automata and live music to weave an irresistible magic.
