Become a Patron

By becoming a Patron you will help shape the future of Little Angel Theatre. Your support will enable us to use puppetry to tell great stories that excite, educate and inspire young people whilst making the arts accessible to all. Every year we must raise over half a million pounds on top of our Box Office income. Our Patrons will help us look after our cherished buildings, remain accessible to all, and to achieve our artistic ambitions.

Patrons will enjoy a personal relationship with Little Angel Theatre in recognition of their annual support. Gifts are acknowledged in the theatre and we ensure that Patrons have many opportunities to experience the arts and learning programmes that their donations make possible.

As a fully philanthropic programme, 100% of a donation to Little Angel Theatre is eligible for Gift Aid. The following levels are suggested amounts and you are encouraged to donate at a level that suits you to an area of our work that inspires you.

Enable us to deliver high quality, innovative puppetry performances on stage in our theatres, on tour and on screen.

  • £8,000 could fund the design and creation of the puppets for a new show
  • £3000 could fund the research and development for a new show
  • £8,000 is the average cost of creating and designing puppets for a new show
  • £500 could fund the week’s salary of a performer

In 1961 John Wright found a derelict temperance hall in Islington and transformed it into a magical little theatre. Since then it has become an iconic venue for generations of young children. However, it costs just over £2000 to run our buildings and this doesn’t include vital  technical and front of house improvements. Your donation could support us to make much needed changes, ensuring our buildings are fit for purpose for generations to come.

Community & Participation

Support us to help people to express themselves creatively, develop confidence, improve communication and social skills, and develop their puppetry making and performance skills.

  • £1,500 could fund a week long project for a class of children in our local community
  • £750 could fund 7 performances of our suitcase show to isolated children in our community
  • £300 could fund the materials for a term of our Young Mum’s group

Everything we do

We will use your donation wherever we have the greatest need to ensure we continue to fuel the imagination of the youngest minds through puppetry.
