At-home activities for ages 7-11

Our theatre is currently closed for public performances, but our staff are super creative people and they will be using their time to generate a whole host of stay-at-home activity guides to help keep you and your children entertained.

Our guides are easy to follow and use simple materials (most of which can be found around the home). Here are some tips for starting a crafting collection.

These activity guides are aimed at KS2 children (ages 7-11) to use independently.

Please share your completed makes with us and, with your permission, we will upload them to our gallery. Email your photos to or share them with us on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

Make your own puppet show at home

Our Artistic Director Samantha has been busy making a puppet show at home with her children. Each day they’ll be sharing updates on their progress, so you can follow along at home. If you’re feeling confident with your puppet making skills, why not try to make your own complete show?

We are offering these resources for free, but if you are able to consider making a donation – even just £1 or £2 – it would be greatly appreciated. Click here to make a donation.
