“Truly celebrates the ingenuity of theatre and proves that, even after the stress and struggles of the past months, there is still a lot of wonderful world out there to be discovered”
A Younger Theatre

What a Wonderful World brings to life the much loved song in a story which encourages little ones to see the beauty of the world and to love other people. Huffington Post said of the book, ‘Hopgood does the impossible and makes a song as ubiquitous as What a Wonderful World feel fresh again’.

This is an adaptation of a book in Tim Hopgood’s classic songbook series. We will also be adapting Moon River, premiering on Sunday 5 July.

Hopgood’s illustrations will be brought to life with design by Alison Alexander, and new recordings of the songs by Barb Jungr and Jenny Carr. The team will be working together to create the shows remotely, following social distancing guidelines.

The show will be available to watch until 30 September.

You can buy the book from Oxford University Press here.
