Little Angel Theatre launches writing challenge with Young Poets Network

We’re excited to have partnered with The Poetry Society’s Young Poets Network to launch a new writing challenge for under 25 year olds.

This autumn at Little Angel Theatre we’re celebrating poetry – specifically the poetry of Edward Lear, who lived in Islington in the 19th century. This season you’ll have the chance to see our adaptation of his poem The Dong with a Luminous Nose, as well as The Further Adventures of the Owl and the Pussy-cat – Julia Donaldson and Charlotte Voake’s sequel to Lear’s original poem.

We’d like you to get inspired by these shows and by Lear’s nonsense poetry, and write a nonsense poem of your very own. Enter by Sunday 10 November 2019 for the chance to win some fantastic goodies from Little Angel Theatre and The Poetry Society.

Good luck!
