Little Angel Youth Theatre (11-17 years)

Summer Term 2016 – Booking Now Open!

Catherine Thomas will lead the group in making their own moving mouth puppet (similar to a Muppet style puppet).  Members will learn all the techniques needed to make this versatile style of puppet and have the opportunity to create their own unique character.  Focus will be on making the foam head in detail  and creating the moving mouth mechanism with a simple body.

Some time will also be spent on learning to use your puppet effectively.  Catherine will teach techniques to enable the puppeteer to bring their character to life, giving it breath and looking at focus and characterisation.

We recommend that you check availability before booking as this course requires regular attendance to follow through the process of making the puppet from start to finish.

“The final performances were extremely professional. We have been very impressed by the level of professionalism and dedication shown by all those involved”.  Parent 2015

“This youth group offers first class tuition as it creates a truly creative environment. The young people have genuinely bonded over the years and consistently deliver magical productions”. Parent 2015
