Little Angel Youth Theatre (11-17 years)
Autumn Term 2015
Our youth company will be working with a professional team over two terms to create their own show.
Youth Theatre members will be working with professional puppet maker and director Oliver Hymans to devise a unique piece of puppet theatre that they will perform at the end of the spring term over 2 nights on the Little Angel Theatre stage.
Following in the footsteps of Tim Burton and Jan Švankmajer the group will explore the genre of Gothic Horror to create an original production. The company will make their own puppets as well as devising the story and perform as puppeteers in the final piece.
Our Youth Theatre have recently created two highly acclaimed puppetry productions, in 2014, Macbeth: The One Half World and most recently in March 2015 a stunning version of The Jabberwocky, both directed by Oliver Hymans.
“The final performances were extremely professional. We have been very impressed by the level of professionalism and dedication shown by all those involved”. Parent 2015
“This youth group offers first class tuition as it creates a truly creative environment. The young people have genuinely bonded over the years and consistently deliver magical productions”. Parent 2015
