Puppetry Foundation Course

Spring term:
Monday evenings, 7.30-9.30pm OR
Tuesday evenings, 7.30-9.30pm

About the Course
Designed for absolute beginners, it is open to all those who have always wanted to have a go at puppetry but never had the opportunity to do so.  Explore a variety of different puppet forms and learn the basics of puppet manipulation and making over 10 weeks. This course particularly focusses on object theatre, glove puppets, shadow puppetry, table-top puppets and three-person puppets. It includes an opportunity for a simple make you can take home with you.

This term includes a show visit to The Wolves in the Walls

“The course was inspiring and engaging. I feel I have learnt a huge amount about the art of puppetry and have improved my own puppetry skills. Thanks to Oliver for being such a patient teacher”.
