Designing and Making a ‘Theatre for One’
with Judith Hope
About the Course
Inspired by her visit to Charleville International Puppetry Festival, puppet maker Judith Hope has created her own unique small transportable theatre which is perfect for festival performances as well as street/busking performances. You will work with Judith to make your own mini puppet theatre show in a box, complete with a peephole and soundtrack for your audience of one person (at a time) to experience a special performance for their eyes only.
Create a cast of miniature puppets and changing sets and backdrops. Storytelling, presentation, staging and soundtrack guidance complete this exciting and unique course.
The term includes a show visit to Prince Charming on 2 March at 2.30pm.
