Adult Puppetry Ensemble (Online)
Summer term: 2 July – 20 August (8 weeks)
Thursday evenings 6.30-8.30pm
About the Course
This is an opportunity to join an online ensemble (of up to 16 participants) to create a new piece of puppetry performance.
The course will be delivered online via zoom over 8 weeks, and will involve the following stages:
- Creating work from a stimulus/initial idea
- Exploring some basic techniques of puppet work for film
- Devising processes
- Making puppets
- Performing and recording puppet performances
This course is best suited for those with some previous puppetry training (such as our Foundation or Intermediate courses), however we welcome those with a keen enthusiasm to learn.
Once you have signed up to the course you will be provided with a materials list, but the focus will largely be on simple materials you can source easily or find around the home.
