INSET: Make a needle felted puppet to use for storytelling/story bags
A CPD session for teachers, EYFS practitioners and anyone working with children
About the Course
During the session you will be taught the technique and have a go at making a simple, small scale needle felted finger puppet design so that you have the knowledge to complete and make more in your own time (tools and materials will be provided for the session with the option to buy extra directly from the tutor on the day if you want to make more puppets after the session.)
The session will end with some tips and suggestions on how this type of puppet can be integrated into a story telling session, tips on using the puppet as a teaching aid/using it as a starting point from which the children can begin their own creative story-making and imaginative play. A handout will also be provided with further information.
Please note, this puppet is not suitable for younger children to make themselves but for adults to make to use in class/workshops or at home as a story prop/teaching tool/for story bags.
About the Tutor:
