Puppet Space

14 September, 7pm-9.30pm

Welcome to the Spring Edition of Puppet Space and an opportunity to catch up with old and new friends and discuss all things puppetry related.

At this meeting you will get a chance to meet core members of the Little Angel team as well as other artists, producers, performers with an interest in puppetry and animation. Please arrive at 7pm for networking. There will be a short presentation at 7.30pm by our special guest speakers Rachel Warr and Almudena Adalia.

Rachel and Almudena have spent two weeks networking and collaborating with Canadian puppet practitioners in Montreal. They will share some of their discoveries about the Montreal puppetry scene and will present some short pieces of performance they developed in response. The trip has been funded by The British Council and Arts Council England. The pair are due to return to Canada later in the year for a further two weeks of work.

This will be followed by an opportunity to introduce yourself to the group. The evening will close at 9.30 pm, however you are more than welcome to continue your chats in a local pub.

All are welcome to this Little Angel Theatre networking event, produced in association with the Puppetry Development Consortium. It’s free to attend however you need to book a space so we can monitor numbers.

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
